          St. Michael School

     Academic Expectations

Our primary academic objectives are student progress and achievement.  We believe that it is important to be fair by applying a grading system, yet we recognize that individual differences do exist.  Every child is encouraged and expected to do his/her best.

St. Michael School follows the graded courses of study as written by the Diocesan Office of Catholic Schools and approved by the Ohio Department of Education in all subjects.  The graded courses of study provide for the basis of instruction.  The primary texts used for any course are selected by the faculty from a list that has been approved by the Diocesan Office of Catholic Schools.
