Extra-Curricular Eligibility Policy

Concept Based On:
      Education is one of the primary reasons children attend St. Michael School.
      The student is representing St. Michael School and must act accordingly.

THEREFORE:

1.  Any student failing (69% or below) two subjects will be ineligible for the following week.

NOTE:
If the student is failing in a particular subject but attaining a 100% grade in effort in that subject, the student will remain eligible.

2.  Any student receiving a detention due to conduct as stated in the Assertive Discipline Policy will be
     ineligible for the following week.
(Except in the case of  a "misdemeanor" offense, as viewed by administration,  i.e., dress code, uncovered text book, etc. Habitual offender will be ineligible).

NOTE:
Grades are for the week, NOT the overall term.  Grading period will run Friday through Thursday.  Ineligibility will run Monday through Sunday.  Ineligible students may not participate in practices or games.
