Enrollment and Registration The present enrollment at St. Michael School is 588 students. Initial Registration St. Michael School will hold registration for the 2008-2009 school year the week of Monday, January 28, through Friday, February 1, 2008 from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. for kindergarten through eighth grades. If you are unable to make the first registration in January, the school office takes registrations from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M. on weekdays during the school year or during their special summer hours.
FOR A REGISTRATION TO BE COMPLETE, WE NEED THE FOLLOWING ITEMS: A. SIGNED PARISH AFFILIATION/SUBSIDY FORM (FOR CATHOLICS ONLY)

continuing on with the registration process as this will determine who will be
admitted to
C. $150.00 NON-REFUNDABLE REGISTRATION/PROCESSING FEE (per child). $100.00 OF WHICH WILL BE CREDITED TO NEXT YEAR’S TUITION; D. COPY OF THE BAPTISMAL CERTIFICATE (for Catholic Only); E. COPY OF THE CERTIFIED BIRTH CERTIFICATE (not a hospital certificate); F. IMMUNIZATION DATES
The following guidelines are
used in determining admission to
1st: Children from Catholic families with children currently enrolled; 2nd: Children now reaching school age (St. Michael parishioners [living within the parish boundaries] - first; St. Michael parishioners [living outside the boundaries] and parishioners from parishes without a school - next); 3rd: Children from families newly moved into the parish whose children have been in Catholic schools where such were available (St. Michael parishioners [living within the parish boundaries] - first; St. Michael parishioners [living outside the boundaries] and parishioners from parishes without a school - next); 4th: Other student transfers and the student is a baptized Catholic (St. Michael parishioners [living within the parish boundaries] - first; St. Michael parishioners [living outside the boundaries] and parishioners from parishes without a school - next); 5th: Transfer students from other Catholic Schools within the Diocese: a. from parish schools that are closing; b. from parishes not offering full programs (K-8); 6th: Children from non-Catholic/non-participating families with children currently enrolled; 7th: Non-Catholics/non-participants.
In addition, students in grades 7 and 8 are interviewed by the Principal. Rev: 12/03
Kindergarten Parents Admissions St. Michael School follows the Diocese of Columbus Policy in regard to admission, placement and withdrawal procedures. The Diocese of Columbus Policy and Regulations Book may be found in the school office. Please feel free to discuss these policies with the principal.
All families must sign and have on file in the school office a current "Tuition Payment Agreement Form". This form explains the various payment plans (advance, quarterly and monthly), late fees and the matriculation fee. It is your signed agreement stating your payment choice for the current school year. Students participating in sacramental preparation will be assessed a fee to cover the cost of materials necessary for preparation. _______________________________ Non-Discrimination Policy St. Michael School does not discriminate on the basis of race in the administration of its educational policies, admission policies, scholarship programs, and other school administered programs.
