Registration

For registration to be completed, we need the following information:

  1. Signed Parish Affiliation/Subsidy form (for Catholics only)   *It is imperative that this form be completed and signed by your Pastor before continuing on with the registration process as this will determine admission to Saint Michael School.
  2. Completed registration form, including student’s social security number. 
  3. $150.00 non-refundable registration/processing fee – This fee is per child and two-thirds ($100) will be credited towards tuition.
  4. Copy of baptismal certificate (for Catholics only).
  5. Copy of certified birth certificate (not a hospital certificate).
  6. Immunization dates.

Priority of admission to St. Michael School in grades K-8 is as follows:

1st: Children from Catholic families with children currently enrolled.

2nd: Children now reaching school age (first: St. Michael parishioners living within the parish boundaries; next: St. Michael parishioners living outside the boundaries and parishioners from parishes without a school).

3rd: Children from families newly moved into the parish whose children have been in Catholic schools where such were available  (first: St. Michael parishioners living within the parish boundaries; next: St. Michael parishioners living outside the boundaries and parishioners from parishes without a school).

4th: Other student transfers and the student is a baptized Catholic (first: St. Michael parishioners living within the parish boundaries; next: St. Michael parishioners living outside the boundaries and parishioners from parishes without a school).

5th: Transfer students from other Catholic Schools within the Diocese:

a. from parish schools that are closing;
b. from parishes not offering full K-8 programs.

6th: Children from non-Catholic/non-participating families with children currently enrolled.

7th: Non-Catholics/non-participants.

In addition, prospective students in grades 7 and 8 are interviewed by the Principal prior to admission.
