Year of Faith
On October 11th, 2012 the Universal Church began the Year of Faith! This day marked 50 years since the beginning of the Second Vatican Council, and 20 years since the promulgation of the Universal Catechism of the Catholic Church. The St. Michael School Faculty has decided that one of the ways we will be honoring the Year of Faith is by praying the Apostle’s Creed daily as a school. Consider ways that you can deepen your family’s faith in the home. Hopefully, you still have your family altar or shrine up from Catholic Schools Week. Think about leaving this up for the rest of the year, and praying especially for an increase in the gift of Faith in your family, in our school, and throughout the whole world.
