St. Michael School teaches students to love and live the Catholic faith in an environment where Christian virtues are taught and modeled. We prepare students for active participation in the Church’s social mission.

The Dominican Sisters of Mary

A New Chapter In the History Of St. Michael School

The Dominican Sisters of Mary received a most gracious welcome from the parish of St. Michael’s in Worthington, Ohio when they arrived in August of 2011. The Sisters are grateful to the many people who have given so generously of their time and talents to prepare for and support this new mission for our community in the Diocese of Columbus. In a wonderful testimony to the Lord’s providence, the building that was once used as office space for the parish was renovated to convert back into a convent, as was originally intended. What a joy to be able to restore the witness of religious life to Saint Michael’s and to share in the history of Catholic education that is present in the parish.

Presently, five Dominican Sisters of Mary are blessed to serve at this mission: Sr. Mary Michael is principal of St. Michael School, Sr. Mary Jacinta teaches Kindergarten; Sr. Jude Andrew teaches Junior High Religion, Sr. Mary Gabriel teaches 5th grade, and Sr. Immaculata teaches 2nd grade.
